The Laboratory of Sensing and Networking Systems (SENS) at EPFL an interdisciplinary research group dedicated to designing and implementing innovative systems with tangible real-world applications. Our focus spans a wide range of areas, including wireless networking, the Internet of Things (IoT), mobile systems, as well as wireless imaging and sensing technologies.

This research project targets the design and implementation of mmWave Phased Array Radio using Radio-Frequency System-on-Chip as a baseband.

This research project focuses on studying different methods for high resolution 3D reconstruction of objects in the near field.
URLLC in software-based private 5G networks
This research project aims to explore the feasibility of meeting the stringent requirements of Ultra-Reliable Low-Latency Communications (URLLC) and to design an end-to-end, software-based private 5G network tailored for URLLC applications.
Practical 3D Reconstruction using mmWave radars
This research project focuses on utilizing point-cloud-completion methods to enhance and reconstruct objects in 3D in practical settings for autonomous driving.
